EPD Shielding Doors    

Shielding doors for applications requiring RF, EMI and radiation protection
are custom designed by EPD to fit each project's requirements.


Shielding doors are normally designed in the following configurations:

  • Swinging door types
  • Top-hung horizontal sliding doors
  • Bottom-rolling horizontal sliding doors
  • Vertical sliding doors

Heavy duty EPD Shielding Doors are furnished complete with panels, guides, hardware, controls and operators.

Hinged (swinging type) shield doors are normally provided with shielded frames and are pre-hung ready for installation.

Heavy-duty structural steel shapes and/or steel plate are normally required in the door panel construction. EPD uses steel manufactured in the USA whenever possible to fabricate these items. These protective doors are specially designed and built, incorporating all options necessary to meet the exacting requirements of your specific situation.
