EPD floor and roof
hatches are specially designed for covering access openings
in floors or roofs.
The doors or hatches must
combine the need to support floor or roof loads with
the ability to open and allow equipment movement from
one elevation to another. Hatches are often used inside
a multi-story building
EPD doors designed for
use as floor or roof hatches are variations of the following
door types:
- Sliding
- Folding
- Swinging
- Pivoting

Two EPD sliding roof hatches are used to cover the elliptical
skylights visible in the ceiling. EPD wood clad swing
doors are used on the vertical openings of the perimeter
walls. All the doors can be opened or closed from a
computer controlled panel located in the pool manager's
office.
